EPPO Workshop on Maintenance of Nematode Collections

An Workshop on Maintenance of Nematode Collections which will be organized with the Dutch National Reference Centre of the NPPO on 2017-09-05/06 at NVWA, Geertjesweg 15, 6706 EA, Wageningen (NL).

It will start at 09:00 on Tuesday September 5th and finish at 13:00 on Wednesday September 6th.

Outline programme

The Workshop will start with presentations from participants about the maintenance of their collections. A visit to the Dutch collection will also be organized. The objective of the Workshop is to share experience with nematode collections maintenance and to agree on general recommendations in the form of guidelines. A programme will be circulated at the end of June.


Participants and Registration

The Workshop is open to participants from EPPO member countries only. Please note that the number of participants is limited to 35 and selection will be made on a first come first serve basis. Experts will be able to propose an oral communication using the link below. Priority for attendance will be given to those willing to make a presentation.

A registration fee of 60 EUR will be requested. It will cover a social dinner and two lunches.

Please complete your registration by 2017-06-30. Registration will be confirmed by the 2017-07-07.



Please note that you should make your own hotel booking. Rooms in the Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Wageningsche Berg have been pre-booked at a special rate and the deadline for booking is 2017-08-04. The single rooms are €95/night, breakfast included.
